A day spent at the Temple planting flowers in the gardens around the Temple. grounds.

You all know that I like gardening, and today was memorable.
Beautiful lilac bushes in the flower beds across from the Sacred Grove.

In the thick of beautiful flowers at the entrance of the Temple.  Still didn't  finish all the planting , but got a great start.  Should be beautiful by the time you come this summer.   Lots more  flowers to go.

Each year Rochester celebrates spring with a Lilac festival that fills the park with beautiful flowers in all colors and shades.  I couldn't help taking the time to smell the flowers, and was so surprised with the variety of fragrance that filled the air.
A pansy flower bed greet the visitors, Created by a group of participants in the festival.
Rod found a perfect cane in on of the trees.  Don't do it!
Up on the hill I found this flag flying over the park, sharing it's colors as well for the guests to enjoy.  Below is a white lilac that had the most amazing fragrance.  I which I could have bottled that one to take home and fill our apartment with its Amazing aroma.  Hope you enjoyed our walk through the park with us.  Find the beauty in your days.

The green has finally arrived back in the Sacred Grove

The colors of spring are finally arrived in the Sacred Grove this past few days, and it is beautiful.  This picture is of a  Beach Tree trunk.  They are hollow on the inside and make a perfect home for beehives and animal houses like squirts, chipmunks, and birds, etc.  Today it is a perfect home for a fern to grow and make it's mark in the grove.
This is one of my favorite shots in the grove of the sky through the tops of the trees.  It is breath taking and reminds me of when Joseph  went to the Grove to pray.  We love this place and spend time here walking each morning.  We love seeing the birds and squirrels and chipmunks running around.  Today we saw a huge owl flying around looking for breakfast, and a squirrel hiding on the back of a large tree trying to blend into the color of the bark.  It worked for Him today.
So good to greet the day with the beauties around you.   Hope you are all enjoying  time with family., and making memories that last.   We  miss you all, and can't believe we are 1/2 way done with our mission.  It is going so fast, and we are loving every minute.  We send our love and prayers to all our family & friends.  Find joy in this day.

The Chapel is filled with pictures from the life of Jesus Christ depicted in Stained Glass .  A sweet quiet place on a beautiful hillside above Keuka Lake in the town of Gerusalem, Yates Co., New York.  It was opened in 1932.

It is starting to turn green in the Sacred Grove!!

It is starting to turn green  in the Sacred Grove.  Today it is raining and beautiful.  We  enjoyed our walk listening to the birds greet the day with their songs.  We love this place.

This past weekend in Niagra Falls , we were treated to the Magnola trees in their spring blossoms.    It was beautiful in pink, white  , and purple splendor.

Enjoy the Spring time at home for me, and send pictures.  Love you all.
