Happy Thirtieth Birthday Teresa! We love you so very much and loved having you here to celebrate your birthday !

Happy 30th Birthday Teresa!  We love you!

Whirlpool Falls has class 6  Rapids and is amazingly breathtaking!

Birthdays celebrated Together!

Happy Birthday Teresa!

Teresa came out to spend time  to celebrate her 30th birthday.  I can't believe that time has gone by so fast!  This was our hike up to the top of Hill Comorah.  30 years young!
Birthday wishes from  friends are the best ever!  Happy Birthday !!!
Enjoying the many beauties at Niagara Falls.  This one reminds me of the Fall River at Uncle Dee's in Chester, Idaho.  Looking great as ever Teresa.  Happy Birthday!   Time goes by so fast!

A trip to the town of Ammondsport where many inventions began and developed.

Excursion to the aerospace museum in Ammondsport where airplane invention was started.   The 1931 Model A pickup was a blast from the past for Rod, who remembers with fond memories his 1932 Ford pickup.  Kyle loved that truck as much as his dad when he was small.  Great memories!
The gold car up above would be my choice of a classy car in those days, and today.  Love the rumble seat in the back!

Pretty cheap airplane ride back then compared to today's costs.  This is an old time gas pump.

The dawn of aviation changed our world today in more ways than we can imagine.

Palmyra Pageant is fabulous!

We loved having family here from home!  Duane, Emily, and Sandy Hill gave us a much needed family fix with updates from home, and lots of laughter and stories from home.
Great seats for the evening.  The best seats in the house are towards the back where you can see everything that is happening without a neck ache.  Smile everyone, you are on camera.
A beautiful sunset to start out the night was delivered with extraordinary beauty.  The pageant is filled with great costumes, wonderful cast members, including King Noah, the stripling warriors, Lamanite Warriors and dancers, and great special effects with water, fire, lighting, and music.  Worth every minute!  By the next week it was pretty much all cleaned up and back to normal.

Don't miss this one! It is far more amazing than it looks. Niagara Falls is hypnotizing.

This river is so loud that it Hypnotizes you!  I could sit and watch it all day.
The falls from the American side with arch bridge behind.
Sharing this magical place with so many people throughout the world.  Lots from Pakistan, India,  China, etc.  We even found a family from Orem Utah.
The Maid of the mist boats run from both sides of the Falls.  Canadian boats have red rain ponchos, and the American boats have blue ponchos.    The river below reminds me of the Fall River in Idaho in  front of Uncle Dees picture window the Spring.

Happy Birthday to our daughter Teresa, and our son Kyle,

Kyle and Teresa share the same birthday month in July.  No wonder they have so much fun together.
Thanks for all the great memories we have shared through the years.  Our kids and grandkids have been our greatest joy and each one brings  their own magical place in our family.  It looks like they are taking time to play together while we are away.

Teresa came out for her birthday and we took the time to go to Coopers Town where they have the Baseball Hall of Fame.  To say the least it was a memorable day for us!  We enjoyed every minute of the museum.  We share great memories of softball games watching our star shortstop player do her thing so well on the field.  Great memories shared at all times of the day and late nights.

We also got to go to the Palmyra Pageant.  What a great week together.  A stop off at Niagara Falls was wonderful .  It is what we call " a ton of water"!
Thanks for spending your 30th Birthday with us.   Happy Birthday Teresa!

We are on our downhill slide on our mission.   We have only 4 more months to go till we are on our way home.  This has been the best place ever to serve our mission in the Palmyra Temple.  We will always cherish this time we have had, and the wonderful people we have come to love.  What a great way to spend the day.

Happy 4th of July Everyone. We never miss a chance to celebrate with an early potluck breakfast.

We definitely have some great cooks in this group of Missionaries.  uuummm good!  These 3 ladies are the Temple Matron Sister Black, and her assistants, Sister Schwendiman, and Sister Miner.  They are a lot of fun, and keep us on track with lots of smiles.
A special flag ceremony from the Missionary Vetrans of war.  They served in many different wars, including the Vietnam, Korean, Irac, Pakistan, and others.  It was a tender moment for all of us, but especially for the solders who had lost beloved buddies in combat.
There are 50 Temple and Sight Missionaries in our combined groups.  Great friendship for sure!
Happy 4th of July to everyone back home.

The day spent with Bob & Irene who are on their way home from their Mission in Baltimore, Maryland.

We were at the Palmyra Temple this morning when we were called to see family from home.  Bob and Irene were in town on their way home from their mission, and stopped to do Sealing's at the Temple.  A blast from the past couldn't have been better.
We finished at the Temple and spent the day touring the Grandin Building where the Book of Mormon was printed , then off to the Peter Whitmer farm, where the Book of Mormon was translated.  A must see place to see when you come here. Also went to the Grandin Building where the Book of Mormon was printed.  It could not have been a better day talking about our wonderful grandkids, and family back home.  We sent them off with kisses & hugs for everyone back home.  It was a wonderful day of celebrating and sharing great stories together!
I think the guy who took this picture forgot to put on his glasses.  A little blurry if you ask me!

This is the locks on the Erie Canal. Pretty amazing project that is still used today.  We had a wonderful day !
Here is the Grandin Building where the Book of Mormon was published.

A lookout over the Niagara Falls Whirlpool gorge.

This is the Whirlpool section of the river above the falls.  The rapids are a category 6, and very dangerous.  Becca did not like the steep cliffs above the falls.  A mother response issue for sure!
Baby ducks on the Erie Canal are a great surprise for Ethan and Todd.

Watkins Glen is one of my favorite surprises so far. But there are many great surprises here.

This is an amazing place to see!  Watkins Glenn Gorge.
This is one of the most beautiful falls ever!  A gorge that was carved out years ago leaving a wonderful walk through the Gorge.  Rod and Terry Jensen, our back door neighbor and friend.

The large pools all the way through the gorge are breath taking, and amazing, and well worth the effort to see.  This puts the Grotto back home on the playground version of falls, but the memories at the grotto are hard to beat with the kids by my side.
This is a falls that runs off the top and runs over the path behind the falls.  Simply beautiful!  This is a must see, and experience firsthand for everyone.  It just keeps getting better all the way up the trail.
Hope you enjoyed the walk with us!
