This ones for the horse lovers in our family!

Couldn't pass this one up on the way home to Palmyra just off the freeway.  Not too bad for the countryside in New York!  This one is for the horse lovers in our family.  Horsing around in New York!

Fall drive through the country along Canandaigua lake.

This picture reminds me of the poem by the poet Robert Frost, "The road less traveled ".  It is one of my favorite, and we learned it in HS Choir.
Hard to beat the fall colors.
The road to Monica's Pies, where any pie is fabulous, and worth the hour drive.
We have arrived and ring the doorbell for service!  This is a must stop!
Rod's favorite is purple grape pie, and their Chicken-pot pie.  Worth the wait!  And worth the drive.

My newly learned skill of a panorama picture!

I just learned by accident how to do a panorama picture in the sacred grove.  Hope you enjoy it.

Pumpkin farm New York style!

This is a teepee made from corn husks!  pretty cool huh! You will have to make one of these at Lyman's place!  Everyone will love it!
Wait till you see what is inside!
This is one out of 10 pumpkin areas to choose from.
This is the door to the Teepee.  Below is what is inside!
It is filled with tons of carved jack-o-lanterns.  Pretty cool place huh!
Hope you all have a great Halloween, and enjoy the pumpkin carving!
Missing you all so much at holiday time.  Send us pictures of all the fun!!!
Happy Halloweening!!!

We are winding down and saying goodbye to special friends we have come to love and cherish!

The colors of fall are beautiful and amazing!  I can't get enough!
The grass is green again and Comorah is smiling again.

From the top of Hill Comorah Angel Moroni watches over this Valley.  There is never too much to see.  We will always cherish this Mission experience.  The love of the people we meet never ceases to touch our hearts.  They are amazing and love come quickly both ways.  We will take them home in our hearts!  Never too much of a good thing when you are on a Mission and come to love those we get to serve.  We will take each of them home in our hearts!!

October General Conference weekend is the best!

A Terrific and much needed rainstorm blessed us with an amazing downpour on Saturday afternoon!  I always miss the kids when it rains.  When they were home we had a tradition that we always sat on the porch and enjoyed the rainstorms & thunder & lightning together.  Missing them today!

Conference weekend is the best as always.  President Monson was amazing, and touched my heart about the soldier trying to climb the rope to get into the ship that he was to be on.  Life feels like that at times, and we have to hang on tight and give it our all, then Heavenly Father gives us the strength!
After Conference we enjoyed dinner with the 3 other Missionary Couples in our complex.  Rod cooked the Chicken, and the others brought French bread, salads, cooked vegies, homemade icecream, and pumpkin roll!  To say the least it was delicious!!!
Above is our Missionary Neighbors.  On the left,  Marsha & Terry Jensen from Pocatello, Idaho , Wayne & Kate Reynolds from Murray, Utah, Rod & I, and Dale & Don Johnson from Murray, Utah.  To say the least we definitely live in the party apartments!
The cute one in front in the coral shirt is the Jensen's neice, Jen, from Idaho, who came to visit and see the sights.  She has been so much fun, and we have enjoyed her quick humor, and laughter.  I think we have given her lots of excuses to laugh this week.  Laughter is always a great idea!!!  She leaves tomorrow, and we get to take her to the airport.  She has been so fun!  One of those "family fixes" I love!
