The best day ever!

Today in the Temple was one of the best days ever!  President and Sister Francis, the Mission President of the Rochester  Mission, and his wife met at the  Palmyra Temple with their Missionaries for a session at the temple.  Many of the Missionaries are at the end of their missions,  and it was time well spent in the Palmyra Temple before they leave.

Many of the missionaries we have met often at the different Palmyra sites.  The Sacred Grove, the Hill lComorah  sight, Christmas Parties etc.  The have been a bright spot in our mission and we will miss them!  What a great way to bid  farewell!  It will be one of the special memories we will cherish.  

As we left they were on the Temple steps taking pictures.  A tender sight. Wish I would have had my camera!

We got 3 more inches of snow today!   l was watching it snow from the window in the Temple that looks out toward the Sacred Grove.  The snowflakes were falling so slowly that it looked like a dance.  President Gordon B Hinkley called the Sacred Grove the firstTemple on this continent.  It feels like that when you walk though the grove.  That is one of the memories I will never forget.

Wish you were here to experience this with us.  Thanks for your prayers and phone calls!  We are so grateful for family & friends.  Life without that would be lonely.
